Avengers: Doomsday Teaser 3/4 - What happens? Narrative Breakdown

The third out of four Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailers has now leaked.

I took the time to carefully study and meticulously enhance every usable frame from the leaked footage that I can salvage, pulling clarity from what was originally blurry, chaotic, and incomplete.

And this one feels different.

The teaser opens in darkness.

We are inside the X-Mansion.

The atmosphere is heavy. Quiet. Almost mournful.

The camera slowly glides past the familiar halls before settling on a metal plate that reads Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. From there, it moves deeper into the mansion until we finally see him.

Professor Charles Xavier.

Seated in his chair. Still. Calm. Waiting.

Then the moment hits.

His wheelchair rolls forward as a King chess piece floats in the air. In the background stands Erik Lehnsherr, blurred but unmistakable.

Two old friends. Two opposing ideals. Bound by fate.

They reach out and hold hands.

Not in fear.

Not in anger.

But as if saying farewell.

The camera lifts to reveal Charles wearing a blue jacket marked with a black and red X. A quiet signal that war has already begun.

He smiles at Erik. Erik smiles back.

And then the music swells.

A slow, haunting piano version of the X-Men 97 theme begins to play.

Magneto speaks.

“Death comes for us all. That much I know for sure. The question is not if you are ready to die. The question is who you will be when you close your eyes.”

The screen cuts.

Cyclops appears.

Wearing a suit nearly identical to the one seen in Deadpool and Wolverine, minus the classic trunks. His face is smeared with dirt or blood. It is hard to tell. The footage is rough, but the emotion is not.

Behind him, a group of sinister looking Sentinels move through the smoke.

He removes his visor.

And screams.

A massive optic blast erupts from his eyes as the screen floods with scarlet light.

We then see Magneto again, shielding a group of mutant children as chaos unfolds around them.

The screen fades to black.

Then the words appear.

The X-Men will return in Avengers: Doomsday.

The final frames are soaked in that same eerie green light.

A ticking countdown begins.

And then silence.

If this teaser is real, then this is not just a return of the X Men.

This is their reckoning.

And Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to be far darker than anyone expected.

We are now only waiting for the last piece of the puzzle. The fourth and the last teaser trailer which will most definitely be leaked next Sunday.
