Catamaran hull Shape Ratios from MAXSURF default models

Selection of Principal Particulars of Catamaran Vessel:

Maxsurf catamaran Ratios:
Catamaran Ferry Pro –
LBP/BOA = 2.64
BOA/D = 2.21
BOA/BH1= 4.3
Cb            = 0.581

Catamaran-
LBP/BOA = 3.43
BOA/D = 2.75
BOA/BH1= 3.00
Cb            = 0.671

MultiChineCat-
LBP/BOA = 2.27
BOA/D = 2.11
BOA/BH1= 3.08
Cb            = 0.476

Simple Cat 6 Surface-
LBP/BOA = 2.10
BOA/D = 3
BOA/BH1= 4.5
Cb            = 0.638

So, we may conclude a range, for the ratios from the above hulls-
LBP/BOA = 2.10-3.43
BOA/D = 2.11-3.00
BOA/BH1= 3.00-4.5
Cb            = 0.476 – 0.671
Now, we choose our length between perpendicular of the vessel to be 30 m
So, from the above ratio’s we have:
LBP                = 30 m
BOA               =  m
                = 12 m
D             =  m
                = 4 m
BH1          =  m
                = 3 m
Our Cb = 0.671
